Notes

Data represent academic years 2014-2015 through 2018-2019, reflecting September enrollment status at the beginning of the academic year. In denominator, we include all public elementary school buildings even when some don't offer kindergarten program, and non-elementary public school buildings that enroll kindergarten students. Main reason for the increase in the percentage from 2017 to 2018 is because of  3% reduced number of elementary schools in Kansas for the latest academic year serving as the denominator.
