Chronic absenteeism is the rate per 100 students enrolled 10 or more days who were deemed chronically absent.

Notes
The numerator is the count of students chronically absent, where chronic absenteeism is defined as a student who is present 90% or less of full-time equivalency. KDE calculates chronic absenteeism by dividing student's FTE present minutes by FTE instructional minutes. The denominator is the number of students enrolled 10 or more days.
