Data Source
Hawaii State Department of Education. "Trend Report: Educational & Fiscal Accountability," various years, various districts. Office of Strategy, Innovation and Performance; Assessment and Accountability Branch, Accountability Section, Honolulu, HI. Accessed July 1, 2024.
Technical Note:
Hawaii County estimates after 2012 do not include the school complex 'Laupahoehoe" because Laupahoehoe became a charter school in 2013; therefore, the DOE now reports the school's data with Charter school data.
Education indicators based HI DOE data provided by the Trend Reports are aggregated from the complex level to county and state, which differs from the indicators based on data provided by the School Status and Improvement Reports, which are aggregated from the school level to the county and state.
