Definition
Children under age 18 who live with two parents — biological, adoptive or stepparents. Two-parent families include married-couple families, as well as those in which the parents are unmarried partners. Children in immigrant families is defined as children who are themselves foreign-born or reside with at least one foreign-born parent.

U.S. Census Bureau, American Community Survey. Estimates are based on an average of three 1-Year Public Use Microdata Sample files.
