Data Source
U.S. Census Bureau, Small Area Health Insurance Estimates (SAHIE). Detroit, Flint, and Grand Rapids are single-year estimates from the American Community Survey. Prior to 2017, estimates for Detroit and Flint only included children ages 0-17.
Notes
SAHIE methodology changed to use the American Community Survey starting in 2008. Thus, data prior to 2008 should not be compared to data after 2008.
