Definition and Source



This is the number of children receiving special education services. The twelve categories are: hearing impairment, mental retardation, speech/language impairment, visual impairment, serious emotional disturbance, orthopedic impairment, other health impairment, specific learning disability, deaf-blindness, multiple disabilities, autism and traumatic brain injury.
