Beginning in 2002, the attendance rates are based on the "average daily attendance" divided by the "average daily membership," as of September of the given school year. Previous years' attendance rates were based on the "average daily attendance" divided by the total enrollment as of October of the given year and are available by contacting Rhode Island KIDS COUNT.
