Deaths to children ages 1 to 14, from all causes, per 100,000 population in this age range.
The data are reported by the place of residence, not the place where the death occurred. Rates for cities are not available due to the absence of population estimates of children ages 1 to 14. The number of deaths, however, is included.

PRB analysis of data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, National Center for Health Statistics microdata files and U.S. Census Bureau, Population Division, Population and Housing Unit Estimates.
