Definition
Total capacity, in September of each year, among all non-24 hour licensed child care facilities.
'Capacity' is defined as the maximum number of children for whom care can be provided within a given age-group and setting.
'Home-based' providers include the following provider-types: Family Child Care Home, Family Child Care Home 3, Experienced Child Care Provider, Infant and Toddler Home, and Large Child Care Home.
