Definition
The percentage of households with children birth to age 17 with at least one household member who experienced a loss of employment income since March 13, 2020. On March 13, 2020, the U.S. government declared the COVID-19 pandemic a national emergency, thus marking the start of the pandemic in the United States. Only respondents who provided a valid response (yes or no) are included.
