Notes

2021 PSAT: Use estimations with caution and do not compare to prior years. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, fewer students underwent testing compared to prior years, and many school districts had additional data suppressed. Students did not take the PSAT in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. More detailed data for districts can be found at mischooldata.org.

The PSAT 8/9 replaced the M-STEP ELA and Mathematics assessment in grade 8 and is included in Michigan's accountability system along with the grade 8 M-STEP science and social studies.

Data for all years (2018-19 through 2024-25) was revised in June 2026. Any publication with these data written prior to June 2026 has outdated data.

Districts with fewer than ten students assessed are removed from the dataset for county and city estimates; the state count includes all students. In counties with small numbers of students, there may be a margin of error exceeding 5%.
