Definition
The number and percent of children age 0 to 12 restraint (wearing a seatbelt or in a car seat) use in crashes. All numbers were collected from the Tennessee Integrated Traffic Analysis Network (TITAN) accepted crash reports. Rate is the number of children restraint use over the total number of children (restrained or unrestrained) occupy to motor vehicles during crashes. The KIDS COUNT division of the Tennessee Commission of Children and Youth organized he data and calculated the rates.
