High School Graduation is the percentage of students graduating from high school within four years. Data are provided by the Kansas State Department of Education. The current rate represents the percent of high school graduates in 2022-2023 that entered high school during the 2018-2019 academic year.

Notes
2010 graduation data and beyond use the Four-Year Adjusted Cohort formulas which are significantly different than the NCLB formulas and the new formula results in a drop in the rate. The Four-Year Adjusted Cohort formula: Number of students who graduate in four years with a regular high school diploma ÷ (Number of students who entered high school four years earlier + students who transferred in - students who transfer out, emigrate, or die during the four years.) Kiowa County School District has the lowest high school graduation rate more than ten years in a row after the 2007 tornado. However in recent years, the low graduation was mainly attributed to a virtual school in the unified school district.
