Why This Indicator Matters
In Delaware, food insecurity not covered by SNAP is primarily mediated by the Food Bank of Delaware. This enormous program has networks throughout the state to collect and distribute food to over 500 hunger-relief programs partners. These partners are often food pantries, shelters and residential programs, but can also be social service agencies and neighborhood and community programs.
