Definition

Percent of high school students who participated in a Career and Technical Education (CTE) program by Alaska Public Health Region.

CTE participants are high school students who have earned credit in one or more approved course(s) in any CTE program area.  

Data Source

Alaska Department of Education and Early Development, data provided by CTE program staff

Student data is collected from school districts that participate in the federal Carl D Perkins grant. This grant does not cover all CTE activities in Alaska, however most public high school students are enrolled in schools that participate in the Perkins grant.
