Why This Indicator Matters

Students who graduate from high school on time are more likely to continue to postsecondary education and training; they are more employable and have higher incomes than students who do not graduate. High school graduates also have better health outcomes and are less likely to engage in risky behaviors.

Percentage of all students to graduate high school in 4 years by cohort. Data for each year represents a 4-year cohort. The designation 'all students' includes: Female, Male, Caucasian, African American, Hispanic, Asian, American Indian, Economically Disadvantaged, Students with Disabilities, English Language Learner, and Migrant Students.
