Number of public school students expelled from school and their rate per 1,000 of net enrollment (1st month membership) in a given school year.
Data Source
Tennessee Department of Education published school expulsions and enrollment data in its Annual Report. The KIDS COUNT division of the Tennessee Commission on Children and Youth converted district-level data to county level and computed rates.

From 2012-13 expulsions data (number and rate) are compiled from data discipline profile, posted on Department of Education website.
