Notes
NA - Data is not reported if fewer than 10 children are represented in a given location in order to protect confidentiality.
DATE - Data is for the calendar year.
NOTES - County data does not add up to the state number, since state totals include children in foster care managed by one of the tribal areas within Montana. Counties that overlap with tribal areas may be undercounting children in foster care since the tribal areas are not included in the county numbers. Foster Care includes all children with an Out-Of-Home Placement, which includes kinship care placements.
