Data Source
Birth Certificate Records, Fetal Death Certificate Records, and Abortion Certificate Records. Georgia Department of Public Health, Office of Health Indicators for Planning (OHIP). Data collection is the responsibility of the Vital Records Branch.
Notes
Pregnancies resulting in live births, fetal deaths, and abortions are included. In the event of a multiple (e.g., twin) birth (or fetal death), the event is counted only once. For example, a birth of twins is only one pregnancy. S: Data Suppressed indicates that there were 4 or fewer events on which rates would be based.
