Our Children Oregon now uses annual population estimates from PSU's Population Research Center as of the 2021 data cycle:
"With each annual release of the population estimates, the full historical time series is revised for all years back to the start of the decade for the state, counties and cities to incorporate improved data availability. Special adjustments have also been necessary due to COVID-19 and wildfires. These revisions enhance the accuracy of net changes since the 2020 Census benchmark. The revised figures, including those for the current year, are always based on the most recent data available and reflect the highest level of accuracy at the time of release."
