Definition

The percentage of 8th grade students that are proficient, i.e., meet or exceed expectations in Mathematics, by school year (SY).
Level 4 denotes "Met expectations" and Level 5 denotes "Exceeded expectations" according to PARCC criteria; both levels are considered proficient.

The PARCC tests were developed in an attempt to measure the full extent to which students are demonstrating mastery of the New Mexico Common Core State Standards (NMCCSS) and were first implemented in SY 2014-2015.
The PARCC Mathematics assessments are administered in grades 3-8.
