Puzzanchera, C., Sladky, A. and Kang, W. "Easy Access to Juvenile Populations."
Notes
Estimates presented here are "bridged race estimates," meaning that statistical methods have been used to create new population estimates showing four racial categories (plus Hispanic origin) rather than the 31 race groups used by the 2000 and 2010 Census. For more information on race bridging, please visit the National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) web site.
NCHS ceased production of the bridged race estimates with the 2020 estimates. Data for this indicator will be updated in the winter of 2024 through a partnership with the Census Bureau.
