Definition
The percentages of resident persons with a live birth who reported
(1) any breastfeeding for at least 8 weeks or 2 months, and
(2) exclusive breastfeeding for at least 8 weeks or 2 months by Alaska Public Health Region.
Region is determined by maternal residence, not site of delivery.
(1) How many weeks or months did you breastfeed or pump milk to feed your new baby?
(2) How old was your new baby the first time he or she had liquids other than breast milk (such as formula, water, juice, or cow's milk)?
(3) How old was your new baby, the first time he or she ate food (such as baby cereal, baby food, or any other food)?
