Definition

Numerator: Number of deaths from all causes to children ages 1 through 14 residing in Georgia (regardless of where the death occurred). Denominator: Number of children ages 1 through 14. Rates calculation: 100,000 times the numerator divided by the denominator.

Death Certificate Records, Georgia Department of Public Health, Office of Health Indicators for Planning (OHIP). Data collection is the responsibility of the Vital Records Branch.
