Definition
The number is the number of babies born in that locality where Medicaid was identified as the payment source for the delivery (as opposed to self-pay or private pay). The percent is the number of babies born with Medicaid as the payment source for delivery divided by the total number of live births in that locality.
* fewer than or equal to 10 counts were identified, data is suppressed for privacy. Percent’s are still reported. Use caution when interpreting percent's.
