Definition
The point at which half of all households are above a specified income level and the other half are below that same level. Incomes for 2010 have been adjusted for inflation so that they are comparable with 2020 dollars. Caution should be exercised in comparing income data from model-based estimates (as reported herein for 2010 and 2020 between counties and over time (see Small Area Income and Poverty Estimates, General Cautions about Comparisons of Estimates, and Census Bureau Website at www.census.gov).
