Number and percentage of children under age 6 who were screened for elevated blood lead levels. State total includes data with unknown counties and/or out of state residents. Rate is the percentage of children of same age group.

Notes
Based on CDC definition, children screened were defined as children <72 months who had lead tests, but previously did not have a confirmed EBLL. (NOTE: A child may be screened in multiple years or even multiple times within a given year, but would be counted only once for each year).
State data include number of children for which no county of resident was identified.
