Definition

Population by race/ethnicity, by ward.
For consistency with the way that Census reports child race/ethnicity by ward, note that the racial groups are as follows:

White = white (and not also Black, Asian, American Indian/Alaska Native, Pacific Islander, or "other" race), not-Hispanic
Hispanic = Hispanic or Latino, any race
Black = Black (and not also white, Asian, American Indian/Alaska Native, Pacific Islander, or "other" race), and may include people who also identify as Hispanic
Asian = Asian (and not also white, Black, American Indian/Alaska Native, Pacific Islander, or "other" race), and may include people who also identify as Hispanic
American Indian/Alaska Native = American Indian/Alaska Native (and not also white, Black, Asian, Pacific Islander, or "other" race), and may include people who also identify as Hispanic
Pacific Islander = Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander (and not also white, Black, Asian, American Indian/Alaska Native, or "other" race), and may include people who also identify as Hispanic
Two or more = Identifying with two or more of the categories of white, Black, Asian, American Indian/Alaska Native, Pacific Islander, and "other", including some people who also identify as Hispanic

Because people can identify as both Hispanic and as most of the other groups, this means that the total percentages may add up to more than 100%.
