The number and percent of mothers who smoked cigarettes during at least one trimester of their pregnancy. Percent is given per the number of live births.

The data used for this measure come from Center for Health Statistics, Washington State Department of Health (DOH), Birth Data. Data were retrieved on May 18, 2016 from http://www.doh.wa.gov/DataandStatisticalReports/VitalStatisticsData/BirthData/BirthTablesbyTopic.aspx (Behavioral and Health Characteristics Table B4)
