The number of married-couple families and single householders with their own children under the age of 18, where no householder was employed or in the labor force; the percentage of families fitting these criteria out of all families with children under 18 years of age.

Notes
Percentage is derived by dividing the number of male or female householders not employed or not in the labor force, with spouse who is unemployed or not in labor force, added to the number of single male or female householder not unemployed or not in the labor force, by the total number of families with own children under 18 years of age.
