Definition
Number of children receiving free or reduced-price lunch or/and breakfast from the school-based nutrition programs. To receive a free meal, household income must be below 130% of the Federal poverty threshold, as defined by the U.S. Office of Management and Budget. To receive a reduced-price meal, household income must be below 185% of the Federal poverty threshold, as defined by the U.S. Office of Management and Budget.
