Definition
Numerator: Number of mothers ages 15 to 19 who gave birth and already have given birth to a child that is still living. Denominator: Number of teens ages 15 to 19 who gave birth. Rate calculation: 100 times the numerator divided by the denominator.

Birth Certificate Records, Georgia Department of Human Resources, Division of Public Health, Office of Health Information and Policy. Data collection is the responsibility of the Vital Records Branch.
