Wisconsin Works, or W-2, Wisconsin's welfare to work Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program. This indicator shows the average monthly number of paid placements providing a cash benefit in each county for that year.
Paid placements include Community Service Jobs, Caring for a Newborn, At Risk Pregnancy, and W-2 Transition placements.
These data may have been influenced by the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, starting in 2020.
